Range of Experience
40 years overseas professional consultancy experience, and until 2007, responsible for all GIBB Africa hydrological, hydrogeological and environmental studies and water supply, irrigation, drainage, sewerage, and sanitation projects in East and Central Africa. This included the management of many multi-disciplinary water, sewerage, and irrigation projects. Since 2017, Sean has focused on hydrological studies within the Horn of Africa, in particular assessing the impact of large-scale developments and downstream riparian conflicts. Sean is a regional specialist in water resources applied to the tropical climates of Africa and the Middle East, with special interest in arid lands, and he has undertaken numerous flood and drainage studies throughout the continent. Sean’s responsibilities as “Engineer” have included contract administration and construction supervision of water, wastewater and irrigation engineering projects in Africa.
