P Garrad is a hydrologist with a high degree of expertise in, and experience of, flood estimation. He is very familiar with all technical aspects of flood estimation and relevant software including the procedures laid in the FEH and hydraulic modelling. Dr Garrad presents training seminars on the use of the FEH methodology to the Environment Agency.

                   FEH CALCULATIONS.  Various flood peak and hydrograph calculations using FEH methodology.
                   LEWES FLOODING. Expert Witness at a Public Inquiry regarding a Planning Appeal for a proposed Housing Development on the flood plain.
                   EXTREME SEA LEVELS - STAGE 3. Revised estimates of extreme sea levels for EA Southern, using year 2000 data and updated frequency analyses including estimates of sea level trends.
                   FLOOD INDICATORS.  Derivation of a flood indicator and examination of trends in flood peaks at 23 UK gauging stations, for EA National Flood Warning Centre.
                   EA HIGH FLOW DATABASE.  Collation of AMAX and PoT levels, ratings and gauging station details for 180 sites in EA Northwest region to develop an Access database of high flows
    .
